GC-MS

The facility is equipped with a Hewlett Packard gas chromatograph – mass spectrometer (GC-MS) with an autosampler to handle a large number of samples whose chemical characteristics are small (typically 10 u to 800 u), volatile (boiling point under 250 degrees C), and thermally stable. The MS utilizes a quadrupole mass analyzer.
