The Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Facility (PAMS) is equipped with two low resolution instruments and several high resolution and high mass accurate mass spectrometers. The majority of proteomic analysis are performed using nano-HPLC coupled with a ThermoScientific Elite orbitrap. PAMS offers solution and in-gel digestion. For pure samples, peptide mass fingerprinting is available. The facility has an in-house Mascot search engine that provides customers with the ability to use their fasta database for protein identification.
